Art Brazil Renascença is dedicated to providing high standard products with selective beauty, disseminating the thorough work made by Brazilian artisans and helping in the development of their local communities.   Renaissance Lace Renaissance Lace originated in Burano island, Italy.  It came to Brazil with the Italian settler´s and has since become a part of the Northeast Brazilian cultural tradition. Renaissance Lace is totally handmade methodically combining the threads lace, highlighting contemporary fashion, from exclusive children´s garments to the glamour of bed and bath linen. How are the pieces manufactured? Delicate drawings are sketched on silk paper and from there the patterns are handmade by using very fine crochet fibers and hooks and then becomes one of the most exquisite and sophisticated laces. Depending on the piece, it can take days or even months to be completed due to the complexity of the process and sometimes it is even necessary for 2 or more people working on one piece at the same time for the completion of the work.
