ARC Cancer Support Centre is a registered voluntary organisation providing a drop-in service and professional support to people affected by cancer and their families, friends and carers. All our services are provided free of charge.
Whether you have recently been diagnosed with cancer, are in recovery, are the parent of a child with cancer or a family member or friend of someone with cancer, ARC welcomes you with open arms and will care for you during these difficult times.
If you or your loved one has had a cancer diagnosis, you can feel shocked, frightened and/or apprehensive. The services we provide are holistic and complement primary medical treatment thereby playing a vital role in improving the physical, emotional and psychological well-being of cancer patients and their loved ones.
Our services include:
One-to-one therapies such as:
• Counselling
• Reflexology
• Acupuncture
• Metamorphosis
• Manual Lymph Drainage
Courses and Programs:
• Relaxation and Visualisation
• Mindfulness
• Stress Management
• Yoga
• Positive appearance workshop
(Please check the course schedule on our website as they may vary from month to month. http://www.arccancersupport.ie/services/ )
Alternatively, you may just want to call to one of our drop-in centres in Eccles Street or Sth Circular Road and have a cup of tea and an informal chat with one of our trained volunteers or with others who are on a similar journey to yourself. This opportunity to exchange information with others can help to relieve stress and anxiety and thereby help to improve quality of life.
Our doors are open Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 4.30pm and we would love to see you.
