A Associação Portuguesa de Estudantes de Farmácia (APEF) foi fundada a 9 de Dezembro de 1998 por um grupo empreendedor de Estudantes de Ciências Farmacêuticas com o objetivo de apoiar e orientar aqueles que seriam os futuros Farmacêuticos deste país.
Atualmente a APEF é constituída por 7 membros (AECFUL, AEFFUL, AEFFUP, NEF/AAC, NECF/AEISCSEM, UBIPHARMA e NECiFarm), distribuídos por cinco cidades (Lisboa, Coimbra, Porto, Covilhã e Faro) e representa mais de 4 000 alunos de Ciências Farmacêuticas.
