Allyson Boucher loves helping nonprofits and small businesses use marketing and communications to change lives and build communities. As founder of AMB Marketing LLC, Allyson partners with her nonprofit clients to tackle issues like health care, women's rights, sustainable food systems and ocean conservation.
As chair of the Rhode Island Ave. NE Main Street, Allyson developed a love for community revitalization and small business development. She provides marketing and communication services to small businesses in Washington, DC with a focus on strategic marketing plans, social media advertising and media relations. Recent clients include Trusst Catering, P&G Counseling & Educational Institute and a boutique holistic care consultancy.
She serves as the communication lead for the Berks County, PA Oral Health campaign, Brush Up on Oral Health, with a focus on overseeing the campaign's strategy and website development. Allyson also led Rare conservation’s global media outreach effort to showcase its Solution Search awards to the world. She and her team landed coverage in BBC Indonesia, Thomson Reuters Foundation, The Himalayan Times, Ethiopian Review and more.
In her previous role as a Vice President of Spitfire, Allyson developed a brand and launch plan for The Food Trust’s new Center for Healthy Food Access, oversaw media outreach efforts for Rise Up’s Let Girls Lead program, and supported dozens of ocean conservation organizations to advocate for sustainable fishing policies.
Allyson obtained her MBA from the University of Maryland and BA from The College of William & Mary. She currently serves as Board chair of the Rhode Island Avenue NE Main Street in Washington, D.C., as it attracts new businesses and coordinate community-driven revitalization efforts in her neighborhood. She lives in NE D.C. with her husband, daughter and food-loving beagle, Howie.
