The MUVO Card is the EMV Contactless Card for Durban & the Cards are issued & prepared by Standard Bank. This means that the transport operator no longer needs to worry about managing a card scheme nor the security or costs thereof which are substantial. The Almex partners are the market leaders in Germany, Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, and in Europe. More than 10,000 ticket vending machines in long-distance & commuter train stations & more than 25,000 ticketing systems in buses & trains across Europe bear testimony to the reliability of solutions.
