ALEXANDER LYNGGAARD CPH is a Copenhagen based jewellery brand founded in 2015 by Alexander Lynggaard. The admiration of jewellery design runs in the blood, as Alexander comes from one of the most well-known and accepted jewellery families in the world. The inspiration for Alexander's jewellery stems from a combination of experiences he has gained over the years from studying the Mayans at University, traveling in India, and having lived in Copenhagen and Los Angeles. The jewellery design is a mix between all these experiences and the outcome is a clean Scandinavian look combined with Indian and Mayan spirituality, topped off with a Los Angeles "Bad Ass" attitude. For the jewellery Alexander uses the finest gemstones from India that each have its own cut in order to avoid identical stones. The uniqueness of each stone creates its own identity and personality, as each stone has its own story to tell. Each gemstone possesses different energies and powers that can be used to spiritually heal people from different illnesses or give people strength to pursue their dreams. Alexander also uses 18K gold, Sterling silver, oxidized Sterling silver, and rhodinated Sterling silver for his jewellery in order to amplify the energies of the gemstones. Each gemstone is carefully selected and mixed with the metal that will bring out the most energy from that specific stone.
