AIslovakIA - National Platform for AI development in Slovakia (#AIslovakIA) is a neutral, independent and non-profit platform with an ambition to develop excellence and bring together experts and those interested in artificial intelligence in Slovakia. The national platform of artificial intelligence (AIslovakIA) is part of and managed by the Center for Artificial Intelligence (CAI), a non-profit organization registered as an interest association of legal entities. The Centre consists of representatives from leading academic institutions, private sector entities and government institutions, aspiring to unfold the full potential of AI in Slovakia for the benefits of society at home, as well as beyond the borders. It was formerly known as a civic association Slovak.AI. AIslovakIA's mission is to create & further develop opportunities for practical, innovative and ethical AI deployment & knowledge transfer. The vision of the platform is to create space for active cooperation between the academic community and representatives of employers, government representatives, representatives of international institutions, or individuals to fully develop the potential of artificial intelligence not only in Slovakia. The platform aims to strengthen cooperation in key areas of AI between scientists, entrepreneurs, the government, international institutions and society. It also aims to connect with international think tanks and organize discussions and seminars on AI issues. AIslovakIA maps the AI ecosystem in Slovak conditions from functional infrastructure to experts or specialized companies. It links scientific and business technologies and cooperates in modernizing and ensuring access to necessary technologies.
