Art Identification Standard (AIS) is a non-for-profit organisation bringing together art stakeholders around a common mission: a standardised and unique IDentifier (DID) permanently assigned to a given artwork.
AIS is an inclusive and international organisation across the full spectrum of a sustainable and fairer artistic ecosystem.
What is AIS?
• a collective force to develop a pan-industry standard
• a unique Object IDentifier (OID) for each artwork
• a tangible application of blockchain technology in the arts
