AION AS is a subsidiary of Aker ASA based on a sustainable business model innovation that emerged from Aker BioMarine’s ESG ambitions on circularity for plastic waste streams. There is an ongoing plastic crisis in the world today. It is filling up our land and oceans, destroying the ecosystems. It is unsustainable. Our Purpose: We want to solve the global plastic crisis. We want to make plastic use sustainable through a circular economy. AION enables the shift towards sustainable plastics by offering a one-stop shop for large-scale circular plastic solutions. We create financial and environmental impact for our customers by enabling the transition to circular solutions.
