AIA Brooklyn, a Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, was founded in 1894. With over 800 members, AIA Brooklyn is the second largest of the five chapters in New York City and has represented the professional interests of architects for over a century. AIA Brooklyn is just one way AIA members, emerging professionals, and allied partners in the design industry can express their commitment to excellence and livability in our City’s buildings, communities and environment. Members adhere to a code of ethics, continuing education, and professional conduct that assures the client, the public, and colleagues of an AIA member dedicated to the highest standards in professional practice.
