AIA Atlanta, the Atlanta Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, is a professional organization representing 1,800 architects and designers in Metro Atlanta. AIA advocates for the value of architects and provides architects the resources to do their best work, including continuing education, political advocacy, networking, and leadership development.
The chapter is part of a larger network of 95,000 members nationally, connecting you with mentors, collaborators, and peers with a shared passion for architecture and a desire to change the world through design.
AIA strives to improve the nation’s quality of life, mitigate climate change, and protect the public’s health, safety, and welfare.
We believe access to good design is a fundamental right. AIA stands for the unbiased treatment of all individuals regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, physical abilities, or religious practices. We advocate for protecting and expanding laws that reflect these values, including fair housing policies, civil rights protections, and accessibility.
