As a student chapter of the international Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the largest Computer Science student organization at UCLA, ACM at UCLA seeks to cultivate the next generation of technology leaders by promoting a spirit and culture of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship. We aim to develop students’ technical and professional skills while creating an inclusive, supportive community for everyone interested in computer science, regardless of major or experience, and we welcome students of all backgrounds to join our community and share in our passion for technology!
With info sessions, workshops, speaker panels, hackathons, fireside chats, podcasts, puzzle hunts, competitions, and so much more, ACM covers a variety of topics including artificial intelligence, virtual reality, cybersecurity, app development, diversity initiatives, community outreach — just to name a few. All of our events are open to everyone!
ACM at UCLA comprises the Board and eight committees, each serving a unique topic and mission: AI, Cyber, Design, Hack, ICPC, Studio, Teach LA, and ACM-W.
