You have the right to experience your own unique grief, to talk about your grief, and to feel and process all of the emotions that come with your grief. Grief is a normal, healthy reaction to loss, and support can make a huge difference in coping after loss. I specialize in grief counseling, working with individuals of all ages to find healing, growth and connection while navigating the "new normal" following loss. Within each individual is the natural ability to heal, and I will assist you in your processing and coping as you integrate the loss into your life moving forward.
I will work with you to individualize your care to help meet you where you're at in your grief. I use talk therapy, as well as experiential activities such as art and sandtray when appropriate to help deepen the counseling experience. And with Telehealth appointments as an option, this type of self-care and support is safe and accessible even during COVID-19 and the social distancing orders in our state.
Everyone is deserving of quality grief counseling support. Sometimes life is painful, but you don't have to figure it out alone. The rapport between you and a counselor can be everything to feeling safe and to experience true growth and healing in the therapeutic process. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you in any way I can.
