AA Grapevine is the International Journal of Alcoholics Anonymous. Founded in 1944, the monthly Grapevine—known as AA’s “meeting in print”—and bimonthly Spanish-language La Viña magazines feature personal stories, articles, letters, and jokes written by AA members covering a range of recovery-related topics. Available in print, online, and on the Grapevine and La Viña apps, the magazines’ colorful design and inclusive, of-the-moment content reflect today’s Alcoholics Anonymous as it changes and grows.
Grapevine and La Viña publish books, audio books and ebooks—with over 50 titles in English, French and Spanish—as well as other AA items for purchase through the websites or the app. Digital visitors can also search the magazines’ vast archives, featuring stories dating back to the very first issue in 1944. In addition to the apps, more recent Grapevine/La Viña offerings include a highly popular weekly podcast, YouTube videos, and Instagram feeds.
