Initially The Group began its operations in Facility Management Services (FMS) and later entered the Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) business, in the fiscal year 2008. The EPC business got its intensity with the acquisition of Sri Eswara Sai Construction Private Limited, a company registered in the year 2007 engaged in the installation of transmission lines, which was subsequently merged with and into the Company, in January 2008. To enhance our business focus and streamline operations, the Company transferred its FMS business to its wholly-owned subsidiary, A2Z Infraservices in the same year pursuant to a court-approved scheme of demerger. In August 2009, we further consolidated our presence in the FMS segment through the acquisition of Imatek. Our capabilities in the EPC business were further strengthened in May 2010, when we executed a business transfer agreement to purchase the entire business of Surendra Choudhary & Brothers, a partnership firm, constituted in the year 2006 engaged in the business of construction of electrical sub-stations and railway electrification work.
