A Current Affair is a pop up vintage marketplace bringing together over 25 premier vintage retailers and private dealers. Our inaugural event, as an official participant in Vogue's Fashion's Night Out, premiered in September 2010. A holiday edition followed in December. A Current Affair happens three times a year and presents a unique opportunity to shop a select assortment of vintage apparel, jewelry, accessories, eyewear, and ephemera including the likes of Azzedine Alaïa, Balmain, Chanel, Chloe, Comme des Garcons, Givenchy, Issey Miyake, Halston, Lanvin, and Yves Saint Laurent. The vision behind A Current Affair is that of a unique marketplace where the fashion forward customer merges with inspiring vintage collections that are relevant within the realm of contemporary style.
The show was founded and is co-curated by private dealer Richard Wainwright and Joey Grana, designer and owner of Los Angeles boutique Scout.
