5MinuteCareers is a social initiative aimed at children between the ages of 13-18 from non-professional backgrounds. Our goal is simple. We want to help inform young children who may not have professionals around the dinner table or within their immediate network. These children will not have the benefit of knowing what the journey to becoming a doctor, lawyer or engineer will look like. They have few people to ask when making career decisions. We think this is unfair. 5MinuteCareers is doing its bit to try to bridge this gab and to help inform and maybe even enlighten. We have interviewed multiple professionals in various careers and have given what we believe to be the edited highlights of those career journeys with useful tips and hints to reach your goals. So, take a look. We also have a YouTube channel full of our career videos. Like, subscribe and learn. We hope it gets you a little further to where you want to be!
