Dr. Mendieta completed a fellowship in reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery in Atlanta, Georgia, and an aesthetic surgery fellowship at the renowned Harvard Medical School. He has appeared on NBC, CNN, and programs like "The Doctors," where he furthered his efforts to raise the bar in the surgical community and provide the most insight and transparency to patients. The Consumer Research Council in America has named Dr. Mendieta one of America’s Top Surgeons for five years in a row. Harper’s Bazaar recently named Dr. Mendieta the “booty guru,” a “pioneer in the field of buttock augmentation” and one of America’s “best beauty surgeons,” in their Bazaar’s Hot List of “Doctors on the Cutting Edge.” Today, Dr. Mendieta is a highly qualified Miami plastic surgeon, serving local, national, and international clientele. With board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), he is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) as well as the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).
