17 Triggers is a global behavior change lab, using human-centered design (HCD) to solve real problems. We’ve been operating in South East Asia and Africa since 2011. Our mission is to design solutions that improve the lives of people at the base of the economic pyramid. We thrive on working with clients to tackle these challenges, and to ensure that our innovative solutions achieve measurable results and outcomes.
Using behavioral frameworks, we unpack barriers and motivators that influence behavior to ensure that our interventions are designed to empower people with the right information, to motivate them to act, and to ensure that the environment enables them to adopt desired or target behaviors. We believe in the power of building solutions from the ground up, testing early, and intaking feedback to improve solutions.
We work with multilateral organizations, NGOs, impact investors, and commercial enterprises to trigger positive change for people at the BoP.
We believe in designing solutions that can trigger behavior change at scale. We look beyond just project level results and focus on designing solutions that can be integrated into existing systems.
We work with urgency and purpose to overcome obstacles and achieve real behavior change in four global pressing themes: health & wellbeing, food & sustainable agriculture, environment & climate change, and economic & financial inclusion.
